Registration and Training Requirements for Client Coordinators, SNAP/Food Stamp Outreach Specialists, and Greeters

Step 3: Register for training. You will get an email with information and links to register for in-person training classes. (Greeters will not need to register for any in-person training.)

  • Client Coordinators will receive an email with a link to register for Client Coordinator training.
  • Client Coordinators who wish to register for Basic Tax Law training send an email to volunteer@communitytaxaiddc.org.
  • Greeters wishing to register for Client Coordinator or Basic Tax Law training send an email to volunteer@communitytaxaiddc.org

Step 5: Attend in-person classes as needed.

Step 6: Complete IRS Volunteer Standards of Conduct and IRS Intake & Interview training and exams as required for your role.

Step 7: Attend volunteer orientation (don’t forget your photo ID and Volunteer Agreement).
